No trippin (but seriously, almost tripped and died)

This photoshoot was taken on my friends rooftop in the Old City of Jerusalem. I don’t normally like denim jackets paired with jeans, unless of course you’re wearing all denim aka. jean on jean on jean. I originally was not wearing the jacket because my shirt wasn’t denim, but this jacket is different. I decided that because of the cut and the shade of jean, it was alright.  I actually really dig this look (yes, hate on that word, I’m still gonna say it).  This outfit was originally just the tunic and the shirt, but once I got dressed, I knew it could use a few more details. And we all know there are never too many details. This is one thing I am sure of, outfits are a process- layering and layering until you have figured out the perfect combo of patterns, textures and colors. I love the idea that fashion–and how you choose to dress yourself–is a way of expressing what words cannot. Deep, I know. So when deciding how you are going to present yourself to the world or shall we say your friends, colleagues, and people you pass on the street, it should just be what you are feeling. If you desire to pull something off, then go right frikin’ ahead.
